Calculate and display your personalized life expectancy estimates
Sync your profile and progress across your devices
Power bucket list progress, achievements, and community features

We do not use your health or lifestyle data for advertising profiling or share it with insurance companies, employers, or healthcare providers.

3 Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase (Firestore and Firebase Authentication), which provides industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest (AES-256).

Authentication is handled entirely by Google Sign-In — we never store your password
Your profile is stored in Firestore under your unique Google user ID
Challenge cover images are stored in Firebase Storage
A local cache is stored in your browser's localStorage for offline access

While we take every reasonable step to protect your data, no internet-based system is 100% secure. We encourage you to enable 2-factor authentication on your Google account.

4 Sharing Your Data

We only share your data with trusted service providers strictly to operate the app:

Google Firebase — authentication, database, file storage, and hosting
Google Analytics — anonymized usage metrics

Community features (comments on challenges) display your Google display name and profile photo to other signed-in users. We may disclose your information if required by law or to protect user safety.

5 Your Rights

Access: Request a copy of the data we hold
Correction: Update your profile at any time within the app
Deletion: Request full account and data deletion — email us at hello@fellowseekers.com
Portability: Request an export of your data
Opt-out: Stop using the app and clear localStorage at any time

6 Cookies & Local Storage

localStorage: Stores your profile locally for fast and offline access
Firebase session cookies: Keeps you signed in to Google
Google Analytics cookies: Anonymized usage tracking

You can clear cookies and local storage at any time through your browser settings. This will sign you out and remove locally cached data.

7 Children's Privacy

FellowSeekers is not directed at children under 13 (or 16 in the EEA). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with data, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

8 International Transfers

Your data may be processed on servers outside your country via Google's global infrastructure. Google maintains appropriate safeguards in compliance with applicable privacy laws. See Google's Privacy Policy for more details.

9 Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date and notify users of material changes in-app. Continued use of FellowSeekers after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance.
